The apartment forms part of a small residence of a few apartments, each designed with their own unique layout and style. The apartment is light and spacious, yet very cosy, and the caring owners have furnished it to a very high standard. Benefits include under floor heating throughout, plus the large kitchen area and plenty of locally sourced alpine furnishings. Its open plan living, dining and kitchen areas enjoy marvellous views across the garden to the pistes of the Grand Massif through the many large windows.
Apartment Bois de Lune 2 is positioned in a prime central location just a short stroll from the very heart of Samoens village centre, with the free and regular ski bus stop located directly opposite the apartment. Should you wish to warm up those muscles at the start of the day, the Grand Massif ski lift is 10-12 minutes flat walk. If you chose to use one of our partner rental shops, ski equipment storage is available at the top or bottom of the ski lift. Samoens’ excellent new ice rink, as well as the great weekly market can be found just 200m for your doorstep. While in the summer, the outdoor swimming pool, lakes, and many surrounding activities are an easy 5 minute walk.
This property is privately owned and has been carefully selected to be in Alps Accommodation’s premier portfolio. It has a Sunday changeover day apart from July and August where the changeover day is Saturday, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available. The property forms part of the upper ground floor of a small residence in the resort centre. You enter the apartment by crossing your own garden and through your own large terrace area, which leads you into this wonderful and unique property. The apartment boasts a south facing position, ensuring a fresh and bright environment is created. At the entrance, there is good space for storing outdoor clothing, then you step into the spacious modern alpine open plan living area. Plenty of wood has been used to create a cosy alpine feel, mixed with the contemporary fittings. A series of large windows illuminate this charming area, while providing magical views to the stunning mountain landscape beyond the private garden.
Following an exciting day in the mountains, grab a glass of wine and relax in one of two large, deep and comfortable sofas in the lounge, equipped with LCD TV and satellite receiver. In the dining area, a large chunky wood dining table, which can seat 6 people comfortably, offers the best views to the mountains and pistes of the Grand Massif as you enjoy your morning coffee. The extremely spacious kitchen comes superbly equipped with high quality appliances and generous workspace to make preparing a tasty meal effortless. The kitchen features a full size electric fan oven, 4 ring hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and a large fridge freezer. Wi-Fi is also provided free of charge throughout, as well as provision of a washing machine in the hall-way cupboard.

Apartment Bois de Lune 2 boasts two bedrooms and a cabin room, featuring comfortable beds, high quality linen and bedding, plus great views!
The ensuite master bedroom comes complete with a comfortable double bed (140x190cm) with great storage provided by a large wardrobe and a small alcove which is ideal for storing luggage. A light and spacious feel is generated by several glass doors and windows on two sides of the room, which offer simply stunning views towards the surrounding mountains including the dramatic Criou which towers high over the village. The doors lead out to a small terrace, which in turn leads around to the main south facing terrace overlooking the garden.
A cosy cabin bedroom, containing full size bunk beds, is available adjacent to the master bedroom giving an ideal space for kids, or adults in the full length set of bunk beds.
In the bright and roomy twin bedroom, the wardrobe provides good storage space while two windows offer a glimpse down the valley towards distant mountains and the setting sun. Positioned opposite the twin room, is a family bathroom consisting of a large shower, sink, towel radiator, and WC.
For flexible sleeping arrangements, a sofa bed is available in the living area which can sleep 2 people. A cot and high chair can also be provided free of charge with prior request.
The apartment is one of just a few apartments in this recently renovated building. The developers have incorporated many alpine features, with a log cabin feel to the property due to its chunky round logs used in part of the structure. The apartment has its own private entrance and forms a lovely south facing front section of the apartments.
A real highlight of apartment Bois de Lune 2 is a south facing terrace and flat lawned garden from which guests can enjoy day long sunshine and great views of the surrounding peaks. This space is ideal for building snowmen or basking in the sun. A gravel path takes you from the grounds to a 20m2 covered terrace with beautiful exposed beams and pillars. This is the perfect vantage point to unwind with a glass of wine and take in the views. A large table and chairs are provided for outside dining and relaxation.
Two private off-street parking spaces are available, as is a cupboard to store ski equipment.
Apartment Bois de Lune 2 boasts an excellent location for year round holidays in stunning Samoens.
A free and regular ski bus stop is located opposite the apartment, providing an efficient link to the Grand Massif Express gondola/telecabine in Samoens during the winter ski season. A short stroll of around 2 minutes will take you to the very heart of historic Samoens where you will find local shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, bakeries and much more. The excellent weekly market, as well as the villages’ impressive new ice rink are just a few hundred metres from the apartment. The Grand Massif Express is 10-12 minutes flat walk away and our recommended ski hire shops have lockers on the piste, or at the lift, so you do not need to bring your ski gear back and forth each day.
In summer, an easy flat walk of around 5 minutes takes guests to the fantastic outdoor swimming pool with numerous other activities in the immediate area including two lakes, tennis, golf driving range, adventure park, café/restaurant, basketball court and pony rides.
A short drive, or a flat walk of approximately 10 minutes will take you to a large Carrefour supermarket.
