Step inside Chalet & Apartment Marguerite via either of its two separate entrances and you immediately appreciate its sheer elegance and style. The ground floor entrance opens out on to a bright open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge space, with three of seven well-appointed bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, also located on the chalet’s ground floor.

A central feature is the cosy log-burning stove – one of two! The second log burner is located on the chalet’s mid-level in another delightful lounge. The chalet’s upper levels are accessible via an internal staircase. Both the ground floor and upper level lounges are stylishly modern, featuring elegant furnishings, thress huge wall-mounted Smart Tvs with sound systems, three Xbox Ones which can also be used as DVD and CD players, 3 bluetooth speakers, and a vast selection of games, DVDs and Blu-ray discs. Boardgames and puzzles are also provided for your entertainment and there is free Wi-Fi internet throughout the entire chalet. Several comfortable sofas provide ample seating inside and out, with the mid-level lounge also equipped with a divine leather beanbag.

Chalet & Apartment Marguerite also boasts two impressive kitchens, each stocked to perfection with ample crockery, cutlery and utensils, glass and bakeware. Upon entering the main chalet via a flight of stairs to the side of the property, the impressive master kitchen is a sight to behold, expertly fitted with central, granite-topped workspace and breakfast island, wall-length granite work surfaces, full-size electric oven plus additional combination oven/microwave, induction hob, American-style fridge/freezer with water dispenser and ice-maker, two dishwashers, corner larder and additional built-in pantry, plus ample below bench storage units. Not to be overshadowed, the superbly equipped ground floor kitchen features the same stunning dark granite work surfaces, full-size fridge/freezer (185cm), electric Bosch oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, and combination washer/dryer hidden away in one of the many cupboards. Speciality items include a fondue set, 2x Nespresso coffee machines, one with milk frother, charming traditional weighing scales and an assortment of loaf tins, cake and muffin moulds for the budding baker. Chalet & Apartment Marguerite’s kitchens provide everything you could possibly need to prepare a grand feast!

The spacious mid-level dining room, with extending dining table seating up to 16, provides stunning mountain views through large glass windows. Or fire up the BBQ and dine al fresco while breathing in the fresh mountain air. The small outdoor dining setting affords a quiet position in one corner of the chalet’s large south-facing balcony, which is also equipped with a comfortable outdoor lounge. A second south-facing balcony is located on the chalet’s upper level. When you’re done feasting you can enjoy a post-dinner game of pool, the ground floor dining table’s removable top revealing a classic felt-laid pool table. A table football game is located on the chalet’s upper landing, where you will also find a chillout zone with cosy games corner for the children and a further four ensuite bedrooms. Another stylishly modern ensuite bedroom is located on the chalet’s mid-level.

Chalet & Apartment Marguerite also benefits from a hot tub with mountain views, plus a barrel sauna located to the rear of the house, where the chalet gardens flow seamlessly into the woodland behind. A storage room with heated boot warmers is located on the ground floor, and an enormous utility room with separate washer and dryer, ample storage and hanging space for coats and walking boots is located on the mid-level. There is also plenty of private off-road parking in front of the chalet, including a covered double garage fitted with a large ski locker.

Chalet & Apartment Marguerite boasts 7 spacious and stylish bedrooms, each with private bathroom. Subtle individual design features provide each bedroom its own unique charm, with custom-made curtains complimenting the soft throws and cushions perfectly, and wall-mounted electric radiators ensuring warmth and comfort throughout. All bedrooms are fitted with only the highest quality items, from the individual furnishings to simply divine bedding and towels, guaranteeing your cosy night’s sleep! Heated towel radiators in all 7 bathrooms provide an extra touch of luxury.

Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 are located on the chalet’s lower level. Bedroom 1, the triple room, can also be configured as a quad room on prior request. With full-size bunk beds and an additional single bed that converts to a double it is ideal for children and adults alike. A large play box filled with Lego, books and games is certain to please, and ample storage is available in the large built-in wardrobe and drawers beneath the bunks. The bedroom also benefits from its own ensuite bathroom, featuring separate bath and shower, WC and single basin vanity unit.

Bedroom 2 is a lovely king room. This bedroom is fitted with a double wardrobe with built-in drawers and plenty of hanging space. It also benefits from its own private bathroom with shower, WC and large basin, located just along the hall.

Bedroom 3, the master king room, is a warm and welcoming space, that opens onto a private sheltered alcove. A solid wood headboard is a lovely feature, and a single wardrobe and large chest of drawers provide plenty of storage. The ensuite bathroom features shower, WC and single basin vanity unit. 

Bedroom 4 is  a spacious king room located on the chalet’s mid-level. It comes equipped with triple built-in wardrobe, a stylishly modern chair and ensuite bathroom featuring shower, WC, and single basin vanity unit. Bedrooms 5, 6 and 7 are all located on the chalet’s top floor.  

Bedroom 5, an impressive super-king room, affords stunning views across to the slopes of Samoens and Morillon.  A built-in wardrobe and bedside tables with integrated drawers provide ample storage space and the ensuite bathroom features shower, WC and single basin vanity unit. On prior request this room can also be configured as a twin, with two single beds.

Bedroom 6 is a charming twin room with views over the gardens and forest to the rear of the chalet. A large and elegant chest of drawers and stylish wooden coat rack provide ample storage space, and the bright and spacious ensuite bathroom features separate bath and shower, WC and single basin vanity unit. On prior request this room can also be configured as a super-king room.

Bedroom 7 is located along the hall and affords the same lovely garden views. This calming space is fitted with a small built-in wardrobe large chest of drawers. The ensuite bathroom features shower, WC and single basin vanity unit. On prior request this room can also be configured as a twin, with two single beds.

Chalet & Apartment Marguerite offers an impressive and attractive exterior. The property resembles a new build due to the high level of work the owners have carried out with local artisans.  Spread across three magnificent floors, Chalet & Apartment Marguerite boasts two south-facing balconies, each with stunning views over Samoens and the Haute Giffre valley. Enjoy these same views from the hot tub, which is located at the front of the chalet near the lower entrance. A barrel sauna is located to the rear of the property where the peaceful gardens extend into the pretty forest behind.
