Chalet La Boissiere

You enter Chalet La Boissière via a spacious cloakroom offering excellent storage for outdoor clothing and equipment. Carrying on into the chalet, a corridor opens into the wonderfully light and inviting open plan living, dining and kitchen area. This impressive space features towering ceilings with light flooding in through French doors on two sides, giving great mountain views as well as access to the private gardens.

In the well-equipped kitchen, you’ll find a luxurious Falcon range cooker featuring a 5 zone cooking area, 2 ovens and a separate grill. Additional highlights include a Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, dedicated drinks fridge, and full-size dishwasher.

Located opposite the kitchen and positioned in front of French windows giving lovely views, the dining area can comfortably seat 8 people providing a fantastic space to enjoy an evening.

The living area is an exceedingly comfortable space which will not disappoint! A deep comfortable sofa, giant bean bags, and additional chairs are positioned before the warming crackle of a log fire. Perfect for lazy evenings with all the family relaxing after a day in the mountains! Watch snowflakes float down through two French windows giving views over the gardens towards Samoens 1600. Entertainment is provided by a TV with UK channels, DVD player, excellent sound system and a selection of board games.

On the lower level of the chalet, a spacious snug offers a fantastic space for adults and children alike, with a LCD TV, DVD player, table football, keyboard, guitar and sofa. Also on this level, a utility room contains a washing machine and separate dryer.

The maximum number of guests for Chalet La Boissière is 8 including babies.

Chalet La Boissière features four spacious bedrooms spread over two levels, all featuring quality mattresses, linen, and soft furnishings.

Located on the ground floor of the chalet, ensuite bedroom one offers a double bed (140cm wide). This spacious room features a desk with lamp and chair creating an ideal workstation, while south facing windows benefit from maximum sunshine and great views! A built-in wardrobe provides good storage. The ensuite bathroom features a shower, sink with vanity unit, towel radiator and WC.

Bedroom two, located on the upper level, is another ensuite room featuring a very large comfortable king size bed (180cm wide). A glass door provides access to a south facing balcony (shared with bedroom 3) offering wonderful views over the gardens towards Samoens 1600. You will also find a dressing table with attractive stool, and a built-in wardrobe providing great storage. In the ensuite bathroom you’ll find a spa bath, sink with vanity unit, towel radiator and WC.

Bedroom three, featuring a comfortable double bed (140cm wide), affords a spacious and particularly light atmosphere thanks to a large south facing window providing great views without leaving your bed! Other highlights include direct access to a south facing balcony (shared with bedroom 2), a dressing table, and large built in wardrobe.

Lastly, bedroom four is another spacious room boasting a twin configuration and featuring a large north facing window with views towards the iconic Criou mountain. A chest of drawers provides storage.

Bedrooms three and four share a family bathroom with shower, sink with vanity unit, towel radiator and WC.

Whether you are visiting in winter or summer, at Chalet La Boissière you are spoiled when it comes to outdoor space. The property is surrounded by an impressive 1100m2 garden consisting of mainly flat lawned areas – a rare treat in our mountainous environment! The gardens are enclosed by fencing, with hedges offering some privacy, while a large table and chairs, sun loungers and BBQ are provided. Large French doors give access from the living and dining areas onto a 71m2 terrace which surrounds the south and east sides of the chalet. A small table and chairs provide the perfect place for a morning coffee! Bedrooms two and three share a south facing balcony overlooking the gardens, with lovely views towards Samoens 1600.

The chalet offers two private off street parking spaces and a further area for two cars. For electric car charging, you can charge your EV using your own EV charging cable and a standard electrical socket in the car port.
