Chalet Sarbelo

You enter Chalet Sarbelo on the middle level of this spacious three floor property with a corridor leading you into the stunning open plan living, dining, and kitchen areas.  In the centre of this space is a crackling log fire with an eye catching stone feature wall, while to the right, the cosy living area offers two comfortable sofas.  The double height ceiling with huge windows offer immense views over Samoens village to the Criou mountain and beyond. From the lounge area, sliding glass doors lead out to the spacious covered balcony and outside lounge, adding to the already light and spacious feel.

The dining area features an attractive long wooden table with luxurious fabric dining chairs and modern lighting suspended overhead. An additional bench ensures up to 10 guests can be comfortably seated with more gorgeous views providing the ideal backdrop. The spacious kitchen comes fully equipped with highlights including a large fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, 4 ring induction hob, combined microwave oven, dishwasher and raclette machine. Excellent work surface areas and storage spaces are available, while sliding glass doors give access to a south facing terrace with a long picnic style table and benches. This level is served by a Sonos music system.

The upper level of the chalet boasts a second living area with vaulted ceiling and large windows overlooking the open plan living and dining areas below. It features an LCD Smart TV with satellite receiver and PlayStation 4 with controllers and a selection of games, while a sofa comes complete with luxurious cushions and throws. A double bed located under the eaves in this mezzanine style room enable it to be a fourth bedroom, or you can simply use the bed to extend the cosy snug area!

Chalet Sarbelo offers guests free Wi-Fi.  In addition the lower level of the chalet hosts a useful large laundry room with separate washing machine and dryer.

Chalet Sarbelo offers 3/4 stunning bedrooms featuring luxurious linen and comfortable beds, while quality throws and cushions add a sprinkle of luxury. Excellent storage is provided in all bedrooms thanks to a series of built-in wardrobes offering both hanging space and shelving.

Three of the four bedrooms are located on the ground floor of the property. Bedroom one is the impressive ensuite master bedroom featuring a king size bed (160cm wide). Patio doors give direct access to the private gardens and terrace with hot tub, while also providing wonderful views over Samoens. In the ensuite bathroom you will find a large walk in shower, vanity unit with sink and WC.

Bedroom 2 is an equally impressive ensuite room which also features a comfortable king size bed (160m wide) and access to its own private terrace overlooking the gardens. The ensuite bathroom features a walk in shower and vanity unit with sink. A separate WC is located opposite, next to the family bathroom.

Bedroom 3 is a quad bedroom complete with two sets of full size bunk beds, making it an ideal room for kids or adults alike. A huge family bathroom is located opposite where you will find a large walk in shower and vanity unit with his and her sinks. This bathroom also provides access to the hot tub, convenient for showering before and after enjoying the hot tub. A separate WC is located next to the family bathroom.

Bedroom 4 is located on the upper level of the chalet and can enjoyed as either a second living area, or a fourth bedroom. The room contains a king size double bed (160cm wide), while a comfortable sofa, LCD Smart TV, satellite receiver, and Playstation 4 with games are available.  Please note this room does not have a closing door, but a privacy screen/curtain by the bed has been fitted for your comfort.

The middle level of the chalet features a third WC.

Chalet Sarbelo benefits from several excellent outdoor areas which help maximise its wonderful location overlooking Samoens and the Haute Giffre valley.

The chalet boasts a vast lawned area to the front of the chalet enjoying excellent sunshine and is perfect for family games and sledging. Leading out from the living area, a large covered balcony wraps around the front and side of the chalet and benefits from morning sunshine, and truly beautiful views over Samoens village to the dramatic peaks beyond. A comfortable ‘L’ shaped sofa with coffee table make it the perfect place to enjoy an early morning sunrise! Leading from the kitchen, a terrace with dining area can be accessed with its south facing aspect enjoying afternoon sunshine and great views towards Samoens 1600 and the Grand Massif ski area.

A private covered car port provides parking for 2 cars, with further parking available on the tarmac driveway. For electric cars, you are able to charge your EV from a standard electrical socket in the ski store from the car port, using your own EV charging cable.

A ski store offers excellent storage for skis, two bikes, and outdoor clothing, with a boot warmer/dryer also available.
