To your right is the first of 5 well-appointed bedrooms, with its private bathroom - one of four – located to your left. Three beautiful navy sofas sit before a gorgeous stone fireplace and surround a magnificent glass-topped coffee table. Made from a recycled Luge a Foin (hay sledge), a similar item once belonging to the owners’ grandfather was inspiration for this piece, a central feature of the room. Unique and quality furniture, exquisite soft furnishings and beautiful décor provide a luxurious feel, coupled with all the mod-cons, such as underfloor heating on the lower level, large flat-screen TV, additional TV and entertainment area, and Wi-Fi Internet throughout.
Another highlight, also located on the ground floor, is the beautiful open-plan kitchen and dining room. Burnt wood beams, exposed stonework, an ornamental fireplace, and large solid wood dining table provide a real farm-stay feel, yet the space is refreshingly modern and bright. Expertly fitted, the kitchen features an American-style fridge/freezer, double full-size ovens, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, huge ‘island’ worktop and additional antique workbench. You also have all the cooking and serving utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware you could ever need, including a deluxe Nespresso coffee machine. The kitchen opens out onto the chalet’s sunny terrace, a pleasant space to dine al fresco or simply sit and watch the skiers glide down the slopes opposite. An outdoor dining table and chairs, plus BBQ are provided for your use.
Climb the wide wooden staircase to the chalet’s second floor where floor to ceiling glass windows afford spectacular views over Samoens and its many peaks. A stylishly modern chaise longue takes centre stage on this landing, the perfect place to take in the breath-taking views or relax with a book. English and French titles are provided for your reading leisure and there is also a desk and chair should you need to bring any work from home. The hallway behind you leads to the second and third bedrooms, a shared bathroom and separate WC. This level also features the entertainment room, where you can lounge in the large corner couch before a TV equipped with PlayStation 3 for your film and gaming pleasure. PS3 games, DVDs, additional books, and board games are provided for your entertainment. Continue upstairs to the third floor, and you will find the chalet’s two remaining bedrooms, each featuring an ensuite bathroom. "This chalet was fabulous so nice that we booked again for next year before we’d even left. Annie went above and beyond to help especially when we needed transport from medical centre. Much appreciated. Location is so great and the Vercland bubble is quaint but such quick access to slopes. Great run home also."
