La Maison Blanche is a unique chalet located in the very centre of historic Samoëns and close to the market square. Sleeping 14/16 people in 5/7 spacious bedrooms, the chalet offers high quality furnishings throughout. There are 5 bathrooms, a large split level garden with hot tub, two separate living areas - one with a games area with table football and pool table. The stunning first floor of this chalet hosts a huge fully equipped kitchen, dining area with a beautiful rustic dining table and a spacious living area with deep comfortable sofas which rest in front of a roaring log burner.
Conveniently located 300m from the ski bus stop and enviably, the chalet is just 50m from the village amenities including shops and numerous restaurants. The Grand Massif Express lift is 800m away or 10 minutes walk. If you chose to use one of our partner rental shops, ski equipment storage is available at the top or bottom of the ski lift. The chalet is nestled away on a back lane behind the village square. In the summer, guests will find some of the best walking and mountain biking trails start metres from the chalet, including a bike trail made famous by the Enduro World Series.
This property is privately owned and has been carefully selected to be in Alps Accommodation’s premier portfolio. It has a Sunday changeover day, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available. Contact us for more information.
Arriving at La Maison Blanche, you enter through the main entrance of the chalet into the first floor of the chalet. Before you is a wonderfully spacious open plan area consisting of living area, dining area and kitchen. To your right is a light and spacious contemporary style well equipped kitchen, ideal for catering for large groups, with an American style fridge freezer, double oven, double butler style sink, microwave, dishwasher. Light floods in through double sliding doors which lead out to the garden and hot tub. Located opposite the kitchen is the dining area with a beautiful rustic dining table. Beyond the dining area is the first of two spacious living areas. Sit back in one of the deep comfortable sofas, in front of the warm glow of the log burner, and enjoy the large Smart TV.
A staircase takes you down to the ground floor of the chalet where you will find a games area and the second living area. In the spacious living area are two three seater sofas, sumptuous bean bags and a second smart TV with DVD player and a selection of CDs and board games. There is an office space with a gamer chair, games console and games and even a sweet dispenser just like in a shopping mall! In the games area there are hours of fun to be had with a pool table, table football and a small fridge. This is truly a wonderfully spacious area to be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. On this floor there is a large double bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom while a laundry room can also be found on this level with a washing machine and separate dryer.

Bedroom one is located on the ground floor of the chalet and is a light and spacious family bedroom with king size bed and bunk beds. Light floods into this room through large French windows, while ample storage is provided by a rustic wooden chest of drawers and hanging rail. Located next to this bedroom is a family bathroom with bath and integrated shower, sink with vanity unit, towel radiator and WC.
Guests will find bedroom two on the first floor of the chalet, an ensuite bedroom with a luxurious king size bed. Good storage is found in a large chest of drawers. The ensuite bathroom offers a large shower, vanity unit with sink, and towel radiator. A separate WC is located next door.
Moving up to the second floor, we find the remaining bedrooms. Bedrooms three and four combine with a spacious ensuite bathroom to create a unique family bedroom. Light fills the room through French windows which lead out onto a private balcony offering lovely views to surrounding mountains. Bedroom three is very spacious with a luxurious king size bed, sumptuous sofa and vanity unit while the adjoining bedroom four has bunk beds. Ample storage is provided by a large rustic wood chest of drawers and hanging rail. In the modern ensuite bathroom is a large shower, sink, towel radiator and WC. Bedroom five is a split level room with a double bedroom and good built-in storage and hanging space on the lower level. A spiral staircase leads to bedroom six on the upper level which is a cosy twin nestled in the eaves (limited head height, no power sockets, only ideal for kids). Bedroom seven is a light and spacious ensuite double bedroom with great storage provided by a chest of drawers and hanging rail. In the bathroom is a bath with integrated shower, sink, towel radiator and WC. A fantastic family bathroom can be found on the second floor with a large luxurious corner bath with integrated shower, vanity unit with sink, and a towel radiator. A separate WC is located next to the bathroom.

Whilst the chalet has 16 beds, it is strongly recommended, that for your comfort, the mezzanine and two bunk beds are really only suitable for children.
The chalet has its own private garden with terraced area and outdoor furniture, including table and chairs, Adirondack chairs with furs and blankets and loungers for the sun worshipers. A bubbly hot tub offers a great place to relax after a fun filled day in the mountains and offers fantastic views towards the dramatic cliffs of the Criou mountain. A large heated ski locker is available for storing ski equipment and bikes while an exterior water tap and hose provide bike washing facilities. There is private off street parking for up to three cars, and you are able to charge your electric car from the ski locker using your own EV charging cable and standard electrical socket.
La Maison Blanche is situated in the very centre of the historic village of Samoëns, just off the main square. Admire the beautiful stonework of the church and châteaux just next-door. Or pop into one of the many shops, bars, and restaurants, all of which are right on your doorstep.
The entrance to the more than 100-year-old botanical gardens is just 50m from the chalet. In winter there is a 600m2 ice skating complex just a 5-minute walk away. The convenient location of La Maison Blanche makes it the ideal place to enjoy all that Samoëns has to offer, no matter the time of year.
In the winter months, the nearest ski bus stop is an easy 300m walk away. Or catch the Septi-train, which leaves from another street just off the main square. Alternatively, you can easily walk to the Grand Massif Express lift in around 10 minutes.
In the summer months, some of the best hiking and mountain bike trails in the valley start and end metres from the chalet. Also within easy walking distance of the chalet is Samoëns’ outdoor swimming pool, its beautiful lakes, tennis courts, golf driving range, adventure park and sports complex.
If you want to venture a little further afield then drive 10-minutes to the stunning scenery of Sixt and the Cirque du Fer a Cheval. At certain times of year up to 30 waterfalls tumble over 2000m high cliffs in this spectacular national park. The chalet is also centrally located for visits to the Giffre valley’s other quaint, alpine villages.
