The 2022 winter season is underway here in Samoens! The lifts of the Grand Massif are open, and the many winter activities and events around the mountains and villages are taking place. We've been out and about to see what's new around the valley.
A brand-new restaurant at Samoens 1600, located directly opposite the Vercland gondola. Enjoy local favourites such as potato beignets, diots, and raclette, BBQ's as well as pizzas and local wine and beer. Or simply stop in for a drink and take in the fantastic views and sunshine from the outdoor seating area and listen to the DJ's playing everyday.

Located opposite the Grand Massif Express, and the nursery slopes of Samoens 1600, this new cafe is ideally located. Offerings include sandwiches, quiches, hot dogs, as well as coffee, beer and a sunny outdoor seating area offering excellent views over the pistes of Samoens.

Open for it's first winter season, Le Grand Crêt 17 is a new restaurant located on the piste between Vercland and Samoens 1600. Excellent food, a warm and friendly atmosphere, a log fire, and great views over Samoens. As well as being accessible from the piste, it's also possible to walk/snowshoe from the hamlet of Vercland.
