As experienced skiers, the Alps Accommodation team have enjoyed many days and seasons, in various resorts throughout the Alps. While all resorts have their positives and negatives, we simply don't think you can beat the villages of Samoens, Morillon, Sixt, and the Grand Massif ski area. That's one of the reasons we've all decided to call this valley home! They offer an addictive mix of all the important ingredients a winter holiday requires, and most importantly, they compare very favourably in terms of value for money when compared to the other big French resorts.
If you're looking to save money this winter and you normally ski in one of Europe's big name resorts, you could save big this winter by switching to the Grand Massif. And we think you'll have just as much fun, if not more! We trawled the Internet and this is what we have come up with.
A like-for-like comparison of chalet and apartment rental costs suggest substantial savings of up to 30% in favour of Samoens and Morillon when compared to the other major French ski resorts.
