Ski and Snowboard Lessons

We are delighted to partner with 3 ski schools serving Samoëns and the Grand Massif, all of whom provide discounts of 5-10% for our clients and have English speaking instructors, many who are known personally to the team. All the companies are open for reservations from mid-October until the end of the winter season. We recommend pre-booking and the discounts are open to all Alps Accommodation clients.

Ecole du Ski Français (ESF)

ESF Samoens

The National Ski School, ESF, have an office in Samoens and Morillon and have over 95 English speaking instructors. We have managed to secure a 5% discount for Alps Accommodation guests staying in Samoens or Morillon (but not ESF Sixt). If staying in Samoens, in order to receive the discount you must state you are staying with Alps Accommodation and make the booking by phone: 00 33 (0)4 50 34 43 12 or by email, again stating Alps Accommodation to info@esfsamoens.com

They do have a website with all the information and pricing but you do not receive the 5% Alps Accommodation discount if booking online.

An indication of prices for the 2024-25 season is provided below, including the Alps Accommodation discount.

ESF Morillon

For guests staying in Morillon or Morillon 1100 you are also entitled to a 5% discount on group lessons with ESF Morillon. In order to receive the discount you must make the booking via their website:

- Complete the online booking form and validate each page. 

- Once complete, print the booking form and post it to 'ESF Morillon - 74440 MORILLON', accompanied with a cheque for 50 Euros (French residents only).

If you do not live in France or do not have a French cheque book, you will need to save the booking form and send it by email as an attachment to info@esf-morillon.com. You will then receive a return email with confirmation.

Whether confirming by cheque or email, when you arrive in resort, simply visit the appropriate Morillon ski school office - Morillon village or at Les Esserts 1100 depending on where you are staying. You will need to provide your name, and a copy of your confirmation email. Don't forget to mention that you are staying with Alps Accommodation again to claim your 5% discount! For Alps Accommodation guests, ESI 360 offers a 5% discount on all lessons. A professional and dynamic team, quality ski and snowboard lessons and instructors at your service - pleasure and fun above all! Their priority is the success of your stay. Also take advantage of their small groups for successful progression. Choose groups limited to 8-9 or Mini Groups of 6 maximum for even more comfort. One of the special services of ESI 360, they can come to your accommodation so that you don't have to go to the office to finalize the reservation (reservation in advance, depending on availability). Or skip if you prefer! They are always ready to welcome you at the office, in the village centre near L'Après-ski.

ZigZag Ski School

ZigZag Ski School is highly reputed and offers a 5 to 10% discount from all full-priced products for Alps Accommodation guests.

Their team of 15 fully qualified instructors all speak good English and are excellent with children and adults alike.  ZigZag teaches from both Samoens and Morillon.

A trusted favourite, ZigZag offers reliably high quality service with a team of ski and snowboard instructors focused on enhancing every aspect of your ski experience.  They know your time on the snow is precious and aim to help you make the most of it.  Small groups, punctual lesson times and instructors who’re full of energy help you progress quickly and enjoy every minute you’ve got.

ZigZag is the only ski school to offer group lessons capped at 8 participants maximum, even during peak holiday periods.  For young beginners their groups are even smaller, with just 6 children maximum per class.

With a strong lineup of experienced instructors and High Mountain Guides, ZigZag has been the local go-to for quality off-piste tuition and guidance for many years.  Ski touring from introductory to expert level is also a ZigZag speciality, and avalanche safety equipment is always included for every participant.
